जनवरी में भारतीय रेल नेटवर्क से जुड़ जाएगा नेपाल, जयनगर-जनकपुर ट्रैक शुरू करने की पूरी है तैयारी

काठमांडू। जनवरी 2022 में भारत और नेपाल के बीच रेल सेवाएं शुरू होने की संभावना है। रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक जयनगर से बर्दीबास ट्रैक के कुर्था स्टेशन तक रेल सेवा की शुरुआत होगी। भारतीय रेलवे जयनगर से बर्दीबास तक 68 किलोमीटर तक के इस प्रोजेक्ट को पूरा करने में जुटा हुआ है।
68 किलोमीटर का है ट्रैक
जयनगर बर्दीबास प्रोजेक्ट को तीन भाग में बांटकर काम किया जा रहा है। जयनगर से कुर्था, कुर्था से बिजलपुरा और बिजलपुरा से बर्दीबास। जयनगर से बर्दीबास रेल रूट में कुल आठ स्टेशन और छह हाल्ट होंगे। रेल अधिकारियों के मुताबिक जयनगर से कुर्था तक का सब काम पूरा हो चुका है और इस ट्रैक पर रेल सेवा जनवरी 2022 से शुरू की जा सकती है।
पूर्व मध्य रेलवे के मुख्य जनसंपर्क अधिकारी राजेश कुमार ने कहा है कि जयनगर से कुर्था लाइन को बहुत पहले पूरा कर लिया गया। कोंकण रेलवे ने सितंबर 2020 में कम से कम 10 डेमू ट्रेन के कोच नेपाल सरकार को सौंप दिए थे। लेकिन कई कारणों से अब तक रेल सेवा को शुरू नहीं किया जा सका है।
जल्द ही बर्दीबास भी रेल से जुड़ जाएगा
राजेश ने बताया है कि नेपाल सरकार ने जयनगर से कुर्था के बीच पांच कोच वाली दो डेमू ट्रेन चलाने की इच्छा जताई है। यह भी बताया है कि कुर्था और बिजलपुरा के बीच ट्रैक बिछाने और सिग्नलिंग का काम भी पूरा किया जा चुका है। जयनगर से कुर्था के बीच रेल सेवा शुरू होने के बाद विशेषज्ञों की एक टीम कुर्था-बिजलपुरा रूट पर स्पीडी ट्रायल करेगी। इसके बाद तीसरे और आखिरी चरण में बिजलपुरा से बर्दीबास तक 17 किलोमीटर का काम पूरा किया जाएगा।
